This baby has been hit by a car once already. We caught it and waiting for Animal Control to pick it up. If this is anyones baby Anderson County Animal Control will have it.

We are aware of the smoke/fire that is burning (alot of called and reported it.) Its controlled burn with the city.

At 5:45pm Rocky Top FD was dispatched to a commercial structure fire at the Dollar General Market. Thanks to the quick actions of store employees and swift response of Firefighters with the assistance of RTPD, the fire was contained to the area of origin, and a small amount of damage occurred. This is an ongoing investigation with personnel still processing the scene, and no further information will be released at this time.

Until further notice, Dollar General Market will be closed for clean up and repairs.
