As a helicopter EMS crew, one of the lifesaving capabilities we bring directly to our patients is the ability to carry and administer blood products before they ever reach the hospital.

For patients experiencing life-threatening hemorrhage, every minute matters. Having access to blood products at the scene and during transport allows us to begin replacing what has been lost while supporting oxygen delivery, blood volume, and clotting when our patients need it most.

At AirLife 7, we carry both Red Blood Cells and Plasma on our aircraft. But those products have to come from somewhere.

They come from donors like YOU. ❤️

That’s why AirLife 7 and Lake City Fire Department have partnered with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers to host a community blood drive!

These special kits provide children with comfort and age-appropriate items during some of the most difficult and frightening moments they may experience.
