If you ever visit Dollywood, there is a special counter located inside the Dolly Parton Experience Museum. It shows the number of books gifted by the Imagination Library to children across the United States. As you stand there and watch it, the numbers tick up in real time - and they do not move slowly.

This picture was taken by a library staff member in October of LAST YEAR. Imagine how many stories have been shared since then. Rest in peace to an absolute legend and champion of children's literacy. 🦋💖

LearningExpress Library has extra math and ELA practice for grades 4-8, as well as tutoring and test prep for high school students! You can work through geometry problems and have them explained, or study for the SAT, ACT, or AP tests.

Did you know that the Columbia County Public Library has a special card JUST for teachers and homeschool parents? With an educator card, you can check out more items and keep them for longer!

To sign up, simply provide proof of employment (paycheck stub or employee ID) or homeschool documentation, such as a copy of your letter of intent. For more information, send us a message or give the youth services office a call at (386) 758-2106.

Turn in your Adventure 250 reading challenge chart to any Columbia County Public Library location by THIS Thursday, July 30th to be entered into our grand prize drawings. Don't forget to write your name, age, and library card number on the back! ✅

Children who do not yet have their own library card can use the card number of a parent or guardian. Great job so far friends, and keep going!! 🎉
