Adopt a Teacher, Earn the Golden Apple!

We have an exciting goal for Lake Dallas Elementary PTA and we need YOUR help! 🍎

We are asking families, friends, and local businesses to “Adopt a Teacher” by covering the cost of a teacher’s PTA membership. Every membership gets us one step closer to earning our Golden Apple Certificate, while also showing our amazing teachers just how much we appreciate them!

For just the cost of a PTA membership ($10), you can sponsor a teacher and help make a BIG difference for our school.

And speaking of celebrating our incredible teachers…

Congratulations to Mrs. Austin, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Klar, and Mrs. Morgan on winning Kendra Scott prizes AND an amazing basket from Divine Leopard Collective! You ladies deserve to be celebrated! 🎉

What a WEEK it has been at LDE! 💚🖤

We kicked off the school year with ALL the excitement, and PTA has been busy making sure our teachers, staff, students AND families feel the love!

- Lunch is served! We treated our amazing teachers to lunch and a soda on their first day back. A HUGE thank you to Jimmy John's for the delicious lunch!

- The hallways got a makeover! We decorated ALL the bulletin boards, and we’re loving all the wild wild best school spirit!

- NEW Falcon shirts are HERE! We’ve got fresh LDE gear so you can show off your Falcon pride in style! (You can still order some!)

-And a special shoutout to Stuart Birdseye for stepping up to be our NEW Watch DOG of the Year! Thank you for volunteering your time and helping keep our school a safe and welcoming place for our kids. We appreciate you!

- And a HUGE thank you to the Retherferd family for donating our AMAZING “Welcome Back” sign from SignGypsies! It was the perfect way to welcome our Falcons back to school and made the first day even more special!

😭🥹 And then came the tears… On the first day of school, PTA was there with cheers, hugs and plenty of tissues for all the Kinder parents sending their babies off to school for the very first time. We felt those feelings right along with you!

A HUGE THANK YOU to every volunteer who donated, showed up, decorated, delivered, stocked, cheered and helped make this first week run smoothly. You are the reason we can do all of this! 💚

Friends…this year is going to be WILD, WILD, BEST! We’re just getting started!
