We recently discovered damage to the mini pitches at the City Park caused by acts of criminal mischief. These facilities were installed for the enjoyment of our community, and vandalism of public property impacts everyone who uses and helps maintain these spaces.

If you observe suspicious activity or vandalism occurring at any City facility or park, please report it to the Police Department.

The Lake Dallas Police Department proudly honors the courageous men and women who serve and protect our community every day. We remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize the unwavering commitment of those who continue to wear the badge with integrity, compassion, and professionalism.

National Police Week is important because it gives our community an opportunity to reflect on the vital role law enforcement plays in keeping families safe, building trust, and strengthening partnerships. Chief Robb was honored to be part of the Opening Ceremonies for Special Olympics Texas!🇺🇸

It was an incredible experience celebrating alongside these outstanding athletes, their families, and law enforcement agencies who all came together for something bigger than themselves. The energy, determination, and spirit on display truly remind us what this event is all about.

We also had the privilege of meeting members of the Denton County Gold Rush team, an amazing group representing our Denton County community with pride and heart! 💛

We had an amazing time this past Saturday at our annual Kids N’ Cops event! 👮‍♂️💙 It was a great day connecting with our community and spending quality time with the men and women of the Lake Dallas Police Department and our incredible city staff. 🙌

At the same time, we hosted our Prescription Drug Takeback Event 💊 and collected an impressive 57 pounds of unused and expired medications—helping keep our community safe and healthy! ♻️👏

We truly appreciate the continued support from each and every one of you. Events like this are what make Lake Dallas such a special place to serve. 💙
