We were honored to attend the swearing-in ceremony of 2018 Lake Dallas High School graduate Seth Ridge today. Officer Ridge begins service with the University of North Texas Police Department and we couldn’t be more proud to welcome him in to the law enforcement family. Earlier this week, we proudly welcomed two new members to the Lake Dallas ISD Police Department during their official swearing-in ceremony!

Please join us in welcoming Officer Gregg Anderson, who will serve as the campus Police Officer at Lake Dallas High School, and Officer William Townsend, who will serve as the Career & Technical Education Law Enforcement Instructor, preparing the next generation of public safety professionals while also providing additional law enforcement support at Lake Dallas High School.

These roles represent more than a badge—they represent trusted mentors, educators, and protectors who are committed to building positive relationships with our students and staff every day.

Congratulations, Officer Anderson and Officer Townsend! We are excited to have you as part of the Falcon family and look forward to the impact you'll make both inside and outside the classroom.

Congratulations to Shady Shores Elementary Principal Jennifer Bryant!

She was recently awarded Administrator of the Year by the Texas Association of School Resource Officers (TASRO)! 🎉

This award is presented to a School Administrator who has made a difference in the lives of their learners, teachers, and staff by exemplifying best practices and serving as an ambassador for positive collaborations with law enforcement for school safety. The recipient fully embraces, supports, and promotes the core values and vision of the school district while promoting school safety!

TASRO is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing school safety that supports school based law enforcement, school administrators, school safety personnel, mental health professionals and juvenile justice partners through education and advocacy.

We are incredibly proud for Mrs. Bryant for this accomplishment and her dedication to the safety of her staff and students!
