๐Ÿš’ Off-Road Rescue Training in Wolcott ๐Ÿš‘

Today, members of Elmore Fire Department participated in an off-road rescue training hosted by Wolcott Fire Department on the new bike trails in Wolcott.

The training brought together crews from Wolcott Fire, Elmore Fire, and Hardwick Fire Departments to practice coordinated response and patient transport in challenging terrain.

Elmore Fire brought our ATV, while Hardwick Fire brought their side-by-side, giving all departments hands-on experience with different rescue setups and trail conditions.

A big thank you to Wolcott Fire Department for organizing this valuable joint training opportunity! Teamwork like this strengthens our ability to respond safely and effectively when every minute counts. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”ฅ

On Saturday September 13th, 2025 members of the Elmore Fire Department installed a new dry Hydrant in Elmore Village at the Elmore Methodist Church. This was part of a grant from the Rural Fire Protection Program. Thank you to the Elmore Methodist church for allowing such an important project to happen on their property. This project was made easier with the help from Elmore Highway with equipment and material and Troy Dare from Vermont Rural Fire Protection Task Force who provided the grant and design of the hydrant.
