Before you dig, remember to call 811. Having underground utilities marked before starting work helps protect critical infrastructure, prevents service interruptions and keeps everyone safe.

Whether you're planting a tree or installing a new fence, a quick call can help avoid costly repairs and unexpected delays.

Protect your pipes and the community sewer system by keeping fats, oils and grease out of the drain. 🍳

While grease may go down the sink as a liquid, it can harden inside pipes and lead to clogs, backups and costly repairs.

Instead, pour cooled grease into a container and throw it in the trash. A simple step at home can help keep wastewater flowing smoothly throughout the community.

Not every EVMWD facility is open to the public, and there's a good reason why. Many of the facilities you see throughout our service area contain specialized equipment, infrastructure and operational systems that are essential to delivering water and wastewater services to the community. 💧When visiting areas near EVMWD facilities, please respect posted signage and restricted access areas. Doing so helps protect public safety and ensures these critical systems can continue serving our customers reliably.🤝
