What do you do when you see a violin about to become firewood? If you're Gretchen Saam, you save it — and turn it into a painting. 🎻🎨
Gretchen, a Lake Luzerne resident and recently retired RN, has spent years creating mixed-media artwork on unconventional surfaces. Her latest works — painted on reclaimed instruments — are now on display at the Caldwell-Lake George Library as part of Project Local.
On view through the end of July. Come see where music and art meet.
