We are Thankful for our police, our town and our colors blue and gold!
*Members should arrive dressed in Blue and Gold with food for the food pantry and we will be trying to fill a police car with all the donations.
*Mustaches will be available so we can match our township police while they participate in "No Shave November"
*Some other fun activities:
Newbies will be introduced to ROCKET SOCCER

Parents/Guardians and Teen Scene Members-
Just some housekeeping...Please read whole email ;-)
1. Parent Volunteers are always needed. I know it's nice to drop off and have an hour or two to get somethings done, but if each parent helped at one or two events it would really help each event go so much smoother.
2. We are in need of a few board members, If you would like to get more involved with Teen Scene, please reach out! We could always use the help and a new perspective.
3. We are always in need of donations, they could be monetary, food or supplies. If you or your business would like to sponsor a Teen Scene Night we would be happy to showcase your kindness. A sign with business or family name would be displayed and it would be included on all info going out to the community.
4. Please help us get the word out! Share this email with friends. Attached is our information flyer.
5. All information for upcoming events will come through Community Pass. For event planning purposes their will usually be a "google form" attached that will have to be filled out by Wednesday before the event and submitted. This just helps us shop for the event. If you don't respond by Wednesday it doesn't mean your child will not be able to attend it just means that supplies might be limited.

Registration is now Open!!
Jefferson Teen Scene, in conjunction with the Recreation Dept., provides positive opportunities for resident teens ranging from 6th to 9th grades. The aim of Teen Scene is to offer teens a place where they can gather with one another in a safe and supervised environment. Activities, programs, and special events take place at Camp Jefferson and/or other designated sites in town. JTTS offers these young adults opportunities to foster positive experiences and strengthen social bonds in a clean, drug-free environment where they can relax, take advantage of the activities/program and be themselves.
Events are themed and well planned. Peer Chaperones (10th to 12th Graders from JTHS) and parent volunteers are utilized to provide a safe environment.
Most events take place on the 3rd Friday of each month. Parents will be contacted by email of any upcoming events. A registration fee of $50 is for a full year of membership, (a few events may require an extra fee).
