Rec Center AC Update |

Great News! The AC Chiller is back up and running and staff can already feel the cool air coming through and bringing down the temperature inside. Staff has already begun the cleaning process to have the building ready for you tomorrow. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming everyone back.

We will be staying closed for the remainder of today 8/31. While the technicians are here working on it, they don't anticipate the repairs being complete and unit turned on for a few more hours. We are sorry for this and appreciate your patience during this.

Just to give everyone an update. Our AC technicians are here working on the unit. They were able to identify issues that needed addressed and retrieve replacement parts.
We have moved forward with cancelling all fitness classes and programs for the evening. The decision to close for the remainder of the day has not been made.
We will update you once we have more information. Again we are sorry for the inconvienence.

The Recreation Center is currently closed due to AC issues. We are working with our AC vendor to get us cooling down as quick as possible to open back up. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Here at the Lake Jackson Recreation Center, National Dog Day is one of our favorite holidays! We're still working on making it a federal holiday. But for now, we're here, our doors are open, but we're showing off our dogs.
Now, we weren't able to get pics of ALL of our dogs, but we tried! From our Director to Marketing Coordinator, from Aquatics Coordinator to Front Desk Supervisor, from Secretary to our lifeguards. We love our dogs!
