WATER CONVERSION ENDS TODAY | For over ten years, the City of Lake Jackson has worked with the Brazosport Water Authority and surrounding cities to perform a best practice twice a year. We perform a water disinfectant process called "free chlorine conversion." We end the conversion process today, June 22. If your water tastes different (which might happen during the disinfection process), the taste should return to normal soon. If you have noticed discoloration, your water should return to normal soon. This process will occur again in the winter, and we will notify you when we have scheduled it with BWA. We appreciate your patience. as we work to bring you safe, clean water. You can go to our website to learn more. https://lakejackson-tx.gov/797/Free-Chlorine-Conversion
