The Luzerne-Hadley Fire Department had the privilege of attending another Flag Day ceremony at the Hadley-Luzerne Elementary School this morning. This has turned into a yearly event that we enjoy being a part of, thank you too our memebers that could be there and Mr. Baker for inviting us again this year.

Congratulations Christopher Thomas! Keep up the great work!

💡2026 Anthony JE Stefanacci Be the Light Initiative Scholarship Recipient Spotlight💡

We are proud to recognize Christopher Thomas as the first scholarship recipient of the Anthony JE Stefanacci Be the Light Initiative.

Christopher is a volunteer firefighter with the Hadley-Luzerne Fire Department and is currently a freshman at Hudson Valley Community College, majoring in Paramedicine.

Christopher was also a friend of Anthony, as both of their fathers served with the Saratoga Springs Fire Department. His dream is to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Saratoga Springs firefighter himself.

We are proud to support Christopher as he pursues a career dedicated to helping others and continuing the tradition of service that has already shaped so much of his life.
