One week ago, our πΏππΆπΉππ πΎπ ππ students wrapped up the last day of school with a picnic they planned for Lake Mills Middle School students and staff! Students wrote letters to local businesses to collect donations, and thanks to their efforts, everyone enjoyed grilled hot dogs, chips, and applesauce. π
Thank you to Bank of Lake Mills, S & S Plumbing, Coffee Van Go, Countryside Jewelry, and CV Hair Company for your generous supportβand a special shoutout to the American Legion Post 67 - Lake Mills, WI, our top donor! This event wouldnβt have been possible without our community partners. π As a thank you, students partnered with our π«πππΏππΈπ πΏππΆπΉ ππ½π π²πΆπ classes to create a Lake Mills map for these businesses to display.
We also appreciate Lake Mills Market for lending us their large charcoal grill and our parent volunteers for helping make the event a success.
To top it all off, our πΏππΆπΉππ πΎπ ππ students fundraised to bring in the Kona Ice truck so everyone could enjoy a free treat on a hot day! π§
