As another school year comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our School Resource Officers for their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the students, staff, and families of Jackson-Milton Elementary School.

Throughout the year, our SROs have done far more than provide safety and security—they have built meaningful relationships, served as mentors, and become a trusted presence within the school community. Their positive impact is felt every day in the hallways, classrooms, and at school events.

We would also like to thank the Jackson-Milton Local School District for its continued partnership and support. By working together, we help create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment where students can thrive and succeed.

We are proud of the strong relationships we have built and look forward to continuing our shared mission of supporting, protecting, and serving our school community.

Field Day Fun! ☀️🚓🍧

A big thank you to the Jackson-Milton Elementary School staff and PTA for inviting the Milton Township Police District to participate in this year’s Field Day festivities!

Our officers had a fantastic time spending the day with students and staff, enjoying some delicious Kona Ice, and even taking part in an inflatable character race. Congratulations to Officer Maas, who took home the victory! In true community spirit, Officer Maas donated his prize to the winning teacher’s classroom.

We always appreciate opportunities like these to connect with our community and create positive memories with the students we serve. Thank you again for making us part of such a fun and memorable day!

Our administrative assistant asked our officers to come in before their shift and asked what their walkout song would be… 🎶

What they didn’t know was that she had already picked one for them. 😆

Needless to say, their answers and their actual walkout songs didn’t exactly match. 😂

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

From all of us at the Milton Township Police District, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we remember our nation’s heroes. 🇺🇸

Teamwork, laughs, and a little friendly competition!

Our officers had a great time joining the 5th graders for their kickball game against the school staff. While the students may not have taken home the win this year, they showed great sportsmanship, determination, and school spirit from start to finish.

Thank you to the students and staff for letting us be part of such a fun day in the community! We’re already looking forward to the rematch next year. 💙

From May 18 – May 31, the Milton Township Police District will be participating in the national Click It or Ticket campaign.

Seat belts save lives — and wearing one is the law. Officers will be conducting increased traffic enforcement focused on seat belt compliance to help keep our roads safe for everyone.

🍪🚓 Cookies with Cops at Jackson-Milton Elementary was a sweet success!

Our officers had an amazing time spending the day with students — from playing on the playground and having a game of kickball with the kids to coloring, laughing, and sharing cookies together. Building positive relationships with our community’s youth is one of the best parts of the job, and we’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect outside of the uniform.

Thank you to Jackson-Milton Elementary for having us and to all the students who made the day so much fun! 💙
