☀️ What a timeless summer! 📚✨

Thanks to our amazing readers, caregivers, sponsors, and 34 community partners, this year's Summer Reading Program was one for the books!

Here’s a quick look at what our seven-county region accomplished together over 61 days:

🎉 135 events hosted with nearly 4,500 attendees
⭐ 80% of participants completed the 20-day reading challenge more than once
📖 500+ teen reading logs turned in

Join your library at the Lake Park City Hall Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m. for a presentation with Minnesota author Carrie Classon.

Carrie Classon is a nationally syndicated columnist of "The Postscript" (featured in over 100 newspapers weekly) and author of the breakout northern Minnesota novel, "Loon Point." In this engaging theatrical presentation, Carrie explores how stories bring meaning to our lives and how the tales we tell can transform us in unexpected ways. Following the presentation, Carrie will host an open Q&A to answer your questions about writing, publishing, and the art of storytelling.

Please Note: Books will not be available for purchase at the event.

This program is offered free of charge thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
