ADK Bridges to Empowerment

Let's get together and talk about mental health and preventing addiction:
Nov 6 Lake Placid High School (6 pm)
Nov 14 Moriah Central School (5 pm)

Community members and local organizations will share about opportunities to make a positive difference in our communities and schools.

Featuring:

- Opening remarks by Assemblypersons Matt Simpson (Moriah event) and Billy Jones (Lake Placid event) and Town Supervisors.

- Presentation by St. Joseph’s about the connection between trauma and addictions.

- A person with lived experience will share about their recovery journey.

- Building Resilience in Essex Families (BRIEF) will share positive and preventive steps anyone can take.

- Panel discussion and community conversation. Additional speaker details to follow.

We had an amazing time at the recent Job Fair & Community Resource Day at Riverside Park hosted by the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce!
