Join us Friday October 9th at the Cotton Museum in Lake Providence for a Cut Flower Workshop with Carla Costello of Concord Flower Farm. Marcie Wilson, LSU AgCenter horticulture agent, will give a presentation on Cut Flower Gardening for beginners and Carla will give a demonstration on arranging and share her tips and experiences with growing and using cut flowers in North Louisiana.

We hope you can join us! Contact Marcie if you have any questions or need special accommodations (318) 766-3769. The Cotton Museum is located at 7162 Hwy 65 N Lake Providence, LA. The program is 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Ms. Bruce’s 4th Grade 4-H Club at Griffin Lower Elementary continued exploring the world of doctors and healthcare careers! Today, our 4-H’ers stepped into the role of a dentist and got hands-on practice filling a cavity in a jaw model! They also discussed ways to prevent cavities and the importance of taking good care of their teeth.

Thank you to these East Carroll Parish 4-H Junior Leaders for stepping up and proudly representing East Carroll Parish at the Northeast Region Volunteer Leader Forum!

These young volunteers had the opportunity to network with teens and adults from across the region while developing new leadership skills, learning about opportunities, and building connections that will help them grow as 4-H leaders.
