Lake Saint Louis lost a dear resident, friend and BBQ Champ! Mark Kaplan was one of the nicest guys, always positive and friendly! He was a true fighter of his cancer and fought til the end with a great attitude, doing what he loved….smoking meat! A real PIT MASTER ! He will be missed! RIP Mark.

Our Mayor for the day, Grayson did an excellent job! He was full of energy, confidence and willingness to jump in and lead the meeting. His twin brother Vance joined him, along with many family and friends. SO cool.

This would not have been possible without the support, creativity and work put it from Donna Daniel. She wrote the agenda, notes and certificates to make this afternoon a success! Thank you Donna!

Another shoutout to our PD. The Command Staff, patrol officers and Melinda in Administration rolled out the red carpet and made this day fun and memorable!

Thank you also to Holli and Greentree PTO!

I’m so blessed to have such an amazing staff and family to support these types of community projects.

At the upcoming June 1, 2026, Board of Aldermen meeting, this outstanding elementary student will:

✅ Lead the Pledge of Allegiance
✅ Receive a ceremonial certificate
✅ Tour City departments
