Good luck to Coach Guel and the Varsity Boys Tennis Team as they travel today at 4pm to take on Merrillville HS. And Good Luck to Coach Gulley and the Varsity Football Team as they play tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 5th at 6pm against Bowman Academy. This game will be played at East Chicago HS's Field.

Fighting Eagle Varsity Volleyball Senior Brooklyn Malenky is our next Edison Arnie's Dog House Dawg of the Week Athlete! Last week in the Washington Twp. Volleyball Invite, Brooklyn had 10 assists and 1 ace serve. She has moved into a new position on the team as the setter and is doing great in this new position! Congratulations Brooklyn!!! We are PROUD of YOU!

This week, Arnie’s Dawg of the Week for Lake Station is Brooklyn ‘B’ Malenky. Brooklyn is a Setter on the Edison HS Eagles volleyball team. 🔴🏐⚫ Their dog of choice has cheese and chili. 🌭🦅🏐 Go Eagles!

Our first Dawg of the Week Edison Athlete for the Fall season is Senior Nico Rico, who is a QB on our Edison Varsity Football Team. Nico and his fellow Fighting Eagles had a big win in week 1, winning 46-14 and the team did a great job of handling adversity that week too, coming in to this game following the storms that hit Northwest Indiana, with limited practice time and no power to the school and area that week!!!! The team did a great job of coming together and pulling out a convincing TEAM win!!! Nico played well at the QB spot in that game too, he was 14 of 29 passing with 118 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and rushing for 37 yards, earning him the Arnie's Dog House Edison Dawg of the Week Athlete! Congrat's Fighting Eagle, we are PROUD of YOU!!!!

Edison Senior Varsity Fighting Eagle Football player Kaden McNeil, recently received an Exemplary Report from an IHSAA Game Official!!!

In our last Varsity Game, the official had this to say about Kaden: " #15, Kaden McNeil, showed true sportsmanship, from helping his teammates up, to helping the other team up too. He was congratulating the other team on nice play's. He also made an effort to greet all of us officials before the game and thank us after the game as well. He truly showed what IHSAA athletics is all about in regards to sportsmanship."

Great job Fighting Eagle, we are PROUD of YOU!!!!!
