Our free summer lunch program is back! 🍎🥕🍉 Lake Stevens School District will once again offer free summer lunches for all children and teens 18-years-old and younger from July 6 through Aug. 6 at the Early Learning Center.

📅 Mondays through Thursdays
⏰ 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
📍 Early Learning Center | 9215 29th St NE

Students can enjoy hot and cold entrées, fresh fruits and veggies, and milk in the cafeteria until 12:45 p.m. No registration is required. Adults may also purchase a meal for $6 (cash only, exact cash requested).

We’re proud to continue providing nutritious meals and a welcoming place for kids throughout the summer.

Congratulations to our Lake Stevens students who have been named Student of the Year nominees at Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center!

These outstanding students were recognized for consistently demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, integrity, teamwork, self-motivation, and a commitment to going above and beyond.

Each nominee received a certificate, commemorative plaque, custom-engraved keychain, and a $500 scholarship from the Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center Foundation in recognition of their accomplishments.

We are proud of these students and the way they represent Lake Stevens School District and our Career & Technical Education program both in and out of the classroom. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

Eight Lake Stevens High School students are headed to Boeing this summer! ✈

This week's "Did You Know? With Dr. T." highlights the students selected for the prestigious Boeing Manufacturing Student Development Program:

These students will gain hands-on experience, develop industry skills, and learn directly from professionals in advanced manufacturing and aerospace.

Join Dr. T. as she visits Rob Davis' CTE classroom and talks with students and CTE leaders about this exciting opportunity and the pathways preparing students for future careers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Skyline Elementary's Open House last night! It was wonderful to connect with students, families, neighbors, and community members as we shared plans for the future of Skyline.

We appreciate your questions, ideas, and enthusiasm as we begin this exciting project together. If you weren't able to attend—or would like to take another look—we'll be adding the latest renderings and project information to our website soon, so be sure to check back for updates.

Our talented musicians from Cavelero Mid High School earned first-place honors in every category at Music in the Parks, hosted by Federal Way High School:

🎵 Wind Ensemble
🎤 Treble Choir
🎤 Vocal Ensemble

But the celebration didn't stop there. For the second consecutive year, Cavelero was awarded the prestigious Espiritus de Corps Award—the festival's highest honor. This award recognizes the school that demonstrates outstanding character, respect, sportsmanship, and behavior throughout the event.

With more than 60 busloads of students attending the festival, this recognition speaks volumes about our students, staff, and school community. We couldn't be more proud of the approximately 200 students who represented Cavelero with excellence both on and off the stage.

These students are led by Jesse Anderson and Kelsey Fletcher. Congratulations on an incredible achievement! 🎉👏

Fresh from the garden! 🌱 Mt. Pilchuck Elementary fourth-graders recently enjoyed a hands-on learning experience in the school garden, where they sampled fresh radishes, peas, and lemon balm straight from the source.

A big thank you to our parent volunteers who helped make this opportunity possible and brought learning to life in such a memorable way. 💚
