Lake Stevens High School Scholarships

Scholarship Amounts Typically Between $1,000 - $5,000

Rotary is an international charitable organization comprised of professional and business leaders whose goals are humanitarian service, high ethical standards and promotion of goodwill and peace around the world. It is the largest and oldest service organization in the world dedicated to friendship, fellowship, and service to others.

Lake Stevens Rotary, since its inception in 1991, has been a proud member of
Rotary International. Our motto, “SERVICE ABOVE SELF” serves as our guide in everything we do. Rotarians live and work by a guideline known as the “Four-Way Test.” It is based upon four questions that can be applied to every situation.

The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say, or do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
2. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Scholarships – The Lake Stevens Rotary Scholarships are awarded each year to graduating Lake Stevens High School seniors who exemplify the qualities of a good citizen. Scholarships can be used for costs in attending Colleges, Universities, as well as vocational and technical Trade Schools.

Applications must be completed this year by April 7th, 2026.

Applications are available online at: https://lakestevensrotaryscholarship.com

As we celebrate another Rotary anniversary, I often wonder what Paul Harris would make of Rotary today. Would he smile proudly? Or stare in mild confusion while asking someone to explain what a “hashtag” is? When he gathered a few friends together on 23 February 1905, I doubt he imagined that li...

Thank you Councilman Nehring for a great presentation.

On Friday, February 13th, Scouts and Adult Leaders from our Scout Troops gave their annual report at our weekly meeting.

The Troops are active with weekly meetings, monthly outings and fun adventures throughout the year. This year they are going to Camp Baldwin in Oregon for summer camp. The girls will be having their annual Mulch Fundraiser starting next month. More information about this will shared soon.

Lake Stevens Rotary has been supporting the Scouting Movement since 1994.

What a wonderful gift!!

I am honored to share the news of an extraordinary US$50 million gift to The Rotary Foundation from Rotarian Ravishankar Dakoju, and his wife, Paola.

This remarkable commitment reflects their deep belief in Rotary’s mission and in the power of people coming together to Unite for Good. Their generosity will strengthen our global efforts and expand what Rotary can achieve in communities around the world.

I am deeply inspired by Ravishankar’s leadership and the shared values he and Paola embody!
