Cabins are all One Bedroom that can accommodate up to 4 people per cabin. The Cabins are located on our 12 acre resort overlooking Horsehead Lake. Started by Hallie’s Mother & Father, ~ Shirley & Jack Thompson back in the 1960’s. Hard work and “Arts & Crafts” made the resort what it is today.Nestled on 300’ of Horsehead Lake shoreline. The cozy little cabins are unique and offer a family rest and relaxation in Northern Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwood’s. We offer friendly service and warm smiles. The Cabins are with running water, full baths and basic kitchens. The Resort itself offers hiking, boating, biking, well almost anything one would want to accomplish for a getaway week or weekend. The towering Pine, Birch, Maple and Oak trees throughout the resort offer wildlife galore. Bird watching, Loons, Eagles, Woody the Wood Pe**er and his family, to all the other little creature’s of the Northwood’s. Fishing is good on our Horsehead Lake from plenty of Pan Fish, Crappie’s to some hearty Northern and Bass to say a few. Our open fire pit is great for Fish Fry and roasting Marshmallows! Wood is plenty and its always tastes so good! Picnic tables, Lawn Chairs and fire pits are included with each cabin.
