The Buildings and Grounds Department will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 7:00 am.

The Town of Hamburg Recreation Department recently updated the "Lifeguard on Duty Schedule" Lifeguards will be on duty at the Hamburg Town Park on 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/27, 8/29 and the last day of the 2026 swimming season will be 8/30.

The Park remains open all year and there's still time to picnic at the park, go for a boat ride, work on your 2026 tan and walk on the shores of Lake Erie.

Come join the fun and thank you for a great season.

The beautiful weather we have been waiting for is finally here. The Hamburg Town Park is open and ready for picnicing, swimming and summer fun activities.

For your convenience there are two restrooms on the lower level of the fitness center that also offer showers in the facility.

There are 5 handicap accessible restroom; two on the upper level and 3 on the lower level near the basketball court, swimming area and boat launch area.

There is also a handicap accessible trailer with a restroom and shower facility.

Bring your sunscreen, snacks and beverages and join the fun in the sun.

From All of Us, to All of You we wish you a safe, happy, and healthy 4th of July weekend. The Buildings and Grounds Department will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 7:00 am. HAPPY 250TH BIRTHDAY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

A portion of Lakeview Road from Southwestern Blvd to Lake Shore Road will be closed beginning, Monday, June 29, 2026 to Thursday, July 2, 2026 or until completion.

The purpose of the closing is for CSX Railroad to replace a rail at the Lakeview Road Crossing.
