❄️Cold weather ALERT!❄️
If trying to TNR/TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-RETURN) during this cold snap…. please know that these temperatures are way too cold, dangerous and potentially lethal to set traps at temps below 40 degrees. 🥶

“IMPORTANT: It is possible for a cat to die from hypothermia or heat stroke when confined in a trap outside. A simple guideline—if it is too hot or cold outside for you, then it is too hot or cold for the cats to be sitting in a trap. Move trapped cats to a temperature-controlled holding area as soon as possible.”
If trapping in these temps… one must not take eyes 👀 off the traps and immediately put cat in temp controlled setting.
If one cannot watch traps like a Hawk… PLEASE DON’T trap… one may fall asleep or get sidetracked and forget.
Cats in a trap during these really cold temps and that cannot move around can end up in detrimental/life threatening situations!
This morning at TCAP… experienced trappers set their place in line with random items and an empty trap bc it was way TOO COLD to leave trapped cats waiting in line until TCAP opened its doors.
If in doubt wait it out!🥶

Found this itty bitty dog in my front yard 9:43a.m. Sunday. Took to PetsMart, no chip. They said it's female 5-6 years. She is doing okay so far at our house. Posted on Nextdoor.com to see if anyone missing.

Found lost boy, was running with black small dog was only able to catch him.. On Carver Dr bit south of Lake Como by the A-Animal hospital area....
This little guy was found at Roberts Cutoff and Yale. He was hit by a car and is being treated at VEG in Fort Worth. Scanned, but not chipped.

Hey guys, there is a very old dog on Ella Young in Lakeside last seen @ 7917 Ella Young. Looks like dog may have been dumped. It is missing a large part of it's hair and is scratching ferociously. It's an old dog and may have mange or just fleas really bad. A friend tried to call you, but said there was no answer. This is the second time this dog has been seen in the same area. Hopefully, this video works.
