Reverend Cori Olson Announces Retirement From St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL (August 19, 2026) — After more than two decades of ordained ministry and dedicated justice work, the Very Reverend Corinna “Cori” Olson, Rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, has announced her upcoming retirement.

Rev. Olson, who has shepherded the historic Lake Worth Beach parish since May 2020, will conclude her formal ministry following a career defined by community advocacy, inclusivity, and regional leadership.

At St. Andrew’s, an inclusive parish founded in 1914, Rev. Olson put her faith into action by leading the congregation through the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic and reinforcing the church's commitment to community-focused justice. She has been a fixture on the Executive Board of People Engaged in Active Community Efforts (PEACE), an advocacy group working to address systemic inequality and justice. She was a regular attendee of Farmworker Council fundraisers and we look forward to seeing her at upcoming events.

Beyond her structural advocacy, parishioners will remember Rev. Olson for her love of the arts, her compassionate pastoral care, and her ability to make complex theology accessible.

Rev. Olson will officiate her final Sunday Worship Service on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. This service will also be available online via live broadcast on YouTube. Check with St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church page for more information about the live broadcast. A celebration of her 22-year ministry will follow immediately in the parish hall. All members of the community are welcome to attend. St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is located at 100 N Palmway, Lake Worth Beach.
