I’m seriously thinking of taking a Midwest road trip to kick off my retirement in late October and would love to hook up with friends and online followers as I go.
Right now the route likely includes Des Moines, Kansas City, St Louis and Indianapolis. Any suggestions for good restaurants, attractions, barbers, visits would be greatly appreciated. Anybody interested in a visit from a traveling barber?

It’s time. Starting this Monday, August 31, I will officially be closing my barber shop and retiring. A lot of the changes that have happened in my life lately, my recent heart attack not being the least of these, have helped me realize it’s time to step back. I’m sure I’ll still cut a little hair but the business is closed. Thanks so much for all your support.
