We have arrived! Our open house and firemen’s dance is today!

Fire Department Open House

Stop by our open house at the Lakefield Fire Hall from 11AM-1PM on April 18th.

We will have a free-will offer meal during the open house. Meal includes pork burgers, beans, chips, juice, and coffee.

We will be offering children fire truck rides (weather permitting).

Where: Lakefield VFW
When: April 18th, 2026. 7PM – Midnight. Free Admission!

Entertainment: Waves Collide
We are so excited to be rocking out with Waves Collide Again.

We have raffle tickets available for $10 each. 24 awesome prizes. See the picture of the raffle tickets for details! Raffle tickets are available at the Lakefield Liquor Store, Holiday Gas Station, any fire fighter, at our open house, and during the dance. Drawing is held at 10PM at the Lakefield VFW (need not be present to win).

A tragic event has hit home for us. Eric Rossow and his family were involved in a terrible accident.

He served the fire department and community for over 20 years. Our community will rise up around him and his family.

The last 24 hours have been unimaginable. We are at a loss of words with this tragedy.

Thirteen Jackson County residents were involved in a serious two-vehicle crash Friday evening north of Windom. We are extremely grateful that Hi-Lo donated a $200 gift card to our fundraiser.
