re have even been some reported (yet to be confirmed) cases of homicide. Here at Lake Shasta Caverns, we are preparing for the worst.

PRESS RELEASE 09/13/2012:
Matthew Doyle, GM of Lake Shasta Caverns, released this statement - "We are getting reports of occurrences in the woods around Lake Shasta Caverns as well as near Hawes Farms, in which people acting strangely. These infected people are showing signs of dementia, hallucinations, flushed skin, internal/external hemorrhaging, and are acting out in very violent behavior. Alth

ough we are unsure of what the method of transfer is, we do know that it is progressing at an alarming rate." He continued with a concerned look, "Rumors are floating around of recent fires causing the destruction of secretive biomedical research facility in woods of northern California. If only a portion of these stories are true, you should start preparing an emergency plan of action. We will be offering a helping hand to those in the area by extending the safety and isolation of the cave. We should be in an operational status October 5th."

We regretfully would like to inform our fans that the Outbreak will not be happening this year at Lake Shasta Caverns. Due to the low lake levels (approx 170' at this point), it has made this style of tour and experience unsafe. If the lake level is at a decent level next Halloween, we would love to have everyone back for a unique sequel to the Outbreak we had in 2012! Stay posted as we go throughout the winter and summer months...we would enjoy infecting you >:-}

The page for the 75th Anniversary of Shasta Dam is up! The entire 3rd week of September will be filled with events encompassing the best DAM celebration in the north state! Please "Like" this page to get information of dates, times, and detailed events as we progress closer to this week long celebration :-D

Reclamation is joining with local community groups to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the groundbreaking of the Shasta Dam construction project.
