Saturday night 1/24/26 around 5:00PM, members from Whiting station 33, Manchester station 32, Ridgeway station 34 and Lakehurst station 62, were called to the beach at Pine Lake for 3 juveniles that ventured out onto the ice and were stranded on the island. First responders were called to remove the juveniles and bring them back to the beach, an Ice rescue tech from station 62 and station 34 went out and made contact with them and got them back to the beach with no issues. Rescue divers from station 33 were on standby. The juveniles were turned over to Manchester EMS to be evaluated.

We want to remind everyone that the ice is not a playground, while it may look like it can hold you, it may not and it is not a chance you want to take.

STAY OFF THE ICE!

Keep posted to our page that day as we will try our best to keep everyone updated, and we will attempt to have our tracker app up and running as well so you can see where we are.
