Leaving behind a legacy of 30 years of excellence is no small feat. Today our very own Mrs. Tina Lane Fout did just that as she said her final goodbyes as the Cafeteria Manager for Crystal Lake Elementary.

🎉🎉🎉Congratulations on an amazing career Ms. Tina! Your dedication, heart, and leadership have shaped our school in more ways than we can count. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and for being an inspiration to us all. The impact you've had here on the students, families and staff will be felt for generations to come.🎉🎉🎉

Remember, once an Eagle, always an Eagle. You will always be a part of the CLE Eagle family. We wish you all the joy in the world in your retirement!💙🦅💛

Check out our 3rd and 4th grade students who enjoyed field trips earlier this month to Polk’s Nature Discovery Center at Circle B Bar Reserve. In their roles/jobs as scientists they benefitted from hands-on learning experiences that engaged them in investigating and learning the value of Polk County’s natural resources. 🧑🏽‍🔬🔍🧭📝👩🏻‍🔬🌱🦆🕷️🐢🍃🦟🐜🐟🐊💧

Parents we need your help to search to infinity and beyond for library books that your student may still have at home.👀🔍📔

Library books were due back to the Media Center on May 8th. We still have 264 books checked out to students. We LOVE that our students are reading but need to get all books returned to the school library.🤓

📢Attention Parents…

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, no backpacks will be allowed at all PCPS school sites for the remainder of the current school year.

This applies to all PCPS school sites beginning Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28 — the last day of school.

Students may carry bags no larger than a small purse. Lunchboxes will still be permitted.

This is simply a precautionary measure. It is not uncommon for schools to implement such a security change during the final days of the school year, when it is no longer necessary for students to carry backpacks or large purses.

If you feel that your child needs accommodations regarding this change, please contact your school’s administration.
