Let's talk about bipartisanship. In a purple district like mine, and a purple state like Minnesota, it's important to work across the aisle to get work done for everyone.

That's what I've done and my record reflects that.

I've signed on as co-author to just as many Republican bills as DFL bills. And I've included Republican and DFL co-authors alike on bills I've chief authored.

You can call yourself bipartisan, but that doesn't mean you are. Facts bear out who really works across the aisle. And I do. Check out the data in the link in the comments to see which legislators are truly bipartisan. ⬇️

Great to spend some time with insurance professionals at the Insurance Federation of Minnesota reception! As Vice Chair of the Senate Commerce Committee for the past 4 years, and an insurance defense attorney for almost 30 years, I have a strong understanding of the insurance industry.

I've worked hard to combat rising insurance premiums and get at the root cause of premium increases. I look forward to continuing that work at the Capitol!

Absolutely blown away by the energy and enthusiasm at Spiral Brewery in Hastings at our Get Out The Vote rally! Very special thanks to Senator Amy Klobuchar, our next Governor, for making the trip to beautiful Hastings and supporting my campaign!

Another special thanks to Congresswoman Angie Craig for her amazing support! She has always looked out for Hastings and has been an amazing leader in CD 2.

Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Chair, Ron Latz, made the trip from St Louis Park to support my campaign, and I could not be more grateful!

Representatives Rick Hansen and Athena Hollins were also there, as was County Commissioner Karla Bigham!

And of course, DFL Chair Richard Carlbom made the trip along with our amazing slate of DFL candidates Zack for MN Auditor, Matt Little, and Jen Fox for House!

So grateful for the opportunity in Lake Elmo to hear from residents of manufactured home communities about the predatory housing practices they endure daily. A special thank you to Ben Schierer and Team Amy Klobuchar for lifting up this important issue.

I was a champion for the Manufactured Housing Resident Bill of Rights last session and voted to pass it in the Senate. But my GOP House Representative killed the bill in committee - breaking his promise to Cimarron residents.

Cole Birkeland for State House and Nat Smith for MN will be champions along with me, and I look forward to serving with them in the legislature.
