It's still surprises me, how some people will ask a notary to be unethical. Sometimes innocently, dripping with honey. Not even considering how we could lose our commission, or even worse!

"Can I sign for Grandma? She isnt feeling good"
"Can we just pretend that there was a witness? I can't find anybody available."
"Can we just date this before grandpa died? He meant to do this, but he never got around to it."
"Why would you even care? you're JUST a notary."

It feels no different than asking me to rob a bank or me asking you to go into your place of business and steal from them.

The most important part of what I do is protecting Grandma and Grandpa, and whoever it is signing that paper. There should be a cape for it. I pride myself in being very good at it.
