We had a great time attending the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce After Hours event at the new Orlando Health | Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital, opening this July!

We were honored to tour the facility and learn about the technology, thoughtful design, and planning that went into creating this state of the art hospital. Hearing the story behind the project and the decisions made along the way was truly fascinating.

Thank you for the warm welcome. We are excited to welcome our new neighbors and look forward to seeing the positive impact this facility will have on our community.

A big win for local today 👏
Wing Nutz — the new hot spot going into the former Good Thyme / Fat Maggie’s building behind Concord Coffee — was on track to open… until a major setback hit.

A large, well-known national fire company no-showed on a critical service call.
No service = no opening.

With their opening on the line, they reached out to a local team.
We showed up—fast.

Multiple technicians jumped in, got everything handled, and made sure they’re ready to go.

Wing Nutz has already been featured in The Lakelander, LALToday, and LKLDNow, and today just added another reason to support them. This is what it looks like when local businesses support local businesses.

When it matters most, Locals show up. We showed up.

Not every day goes according to plan.

An unusual issue popped up today at Mitchell's Coffee House that could have shut down breakfast tomorrow. Owner Joshua Borem and Nathaniel Gearheart worked through several options, stayed persistent, and found a safe path forward to keep them up and running.

That’s what we’re here for - keeping local businesses serving our community.

Today we recognize the brave men and women who run toward danger when the rest of us are running away. On International Firefighters’ Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of those who put their lives on the line to protect our families, our homes, and our community.

These are not just firefighters. These are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, neighbors, and friends who answer the call every single day with strength and selflessness.

Take a moment today to thank a firefighter. Say a prayer for their safety. And never forget the sacrifice behind that uniform. We stand with you. We appreciate you. We are grateful for you.

At Borem Fire Protection, Inc., we are thankful for the support, trust, and referrals our community has entrusted us with. We reinvest that support by contributing to many different nonprofits through their impactful service throughout our community.

This morning, Emma Bray, Executive Assistant, presented our contribution to help provide meals for children who face hunger within our community. We are glad to come alongside the Lakeland Sunrise's 5th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Meal Packing Party to stomp out child hunger in our community.We are thankful to be a part of it. 🔥🧯
