All required signatures MUST be either:

NORAD aircraft are conducting a planned live-fly air exercise in support of Operation over Palm Beach, Florida, today.
NORAD F-16s and Civil Air Patrol (CAP) aircraft will participate in the exercise. The CAP aircraft will operate as low as 1,000 feet, and will likely be visible to the public. This exercise supports Operation

NORAD aircraft are conducting a planned live-fly air exercise in support of Operation over Palm Beach, Florida, today.

To test responses, systems and equipment, NORAD routinely conducts air defense exercises using a variety of scenarios, including airspace restriction violations, hijackings and responding to unknown aircraft. All NORAD exercises are carefully planned and are closely controlled.

The defense of Canada and the United States is NORAD’s top priority; we are on alert 24/7/365. Operation NOBLE EAGLE is the name given to air sovereignty and air defense missions in North America. For more than 65 years, NORAD aircraft have identified and intercepted potential air threats to North America in the ex*****on of our aerospace warning and aerospace control missions.

HURCON Status Update
Florida Wing has returned all Groups to Ops Normal.

Relocation of aircraft and ground vehicles from safe haven sites to home locations will continue for the next couple of days until complete.

FLORIDA WING HURCON STATUS UPDATE
As of 8:00 a.m. CT/7:00 ET

HURCON 1R (Response Phase) – Group 1
All other FLWG Groups have returned to HURCON Ops Normal.

-Incident Management Team remains active.
-Final air taskings will be completed today.
-There are no POD or ground taskings at this time.
-Aircraft and ground vehicles will start moving from Safe Haven locations to their home locations.

Florida Wing members, you have done a fantastic job in response to Hurricane Isaias. Thank you for your time and dedication in serving our communities.

When Hurricane Isaias impacted our communities, Florida Wing Civil Air Patrol members were ready to answer the call.
This is what we train for. This is why we serve.
Behind every mission are dedicated volunteers who give their time, skills, and expertise to help their fellow Floridians when it matters most.
We are proud of our members and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside our emergency management partners.

FLORIDA WING HURCON STATUS UPDATE

HURCON 1R (Response Phase) – Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8
OPS Normal – Groups 6, 7, 9

We currently have multiple post-storm missions and tasking orders including post-storm imagery requests, continued shelter and point of distribution support. If you have availability to assist, indicate your availability up your chain of command and they will provide that to the IMT for staffing.

A reminder to all CAP members: DO NOT SELF DEPLOY

All CAP response and recovery activities must be properly authorized and coordinated through the Incident Management Team (IMT). All tasking requests must be routed to the IMT with a copy to the appropriate Group Commander. See 12:30 ET email update for how to reach the IMT.

Florida Wing has done a tremendous job already providing pre-storm imagery in the panhandle.
