Parent education is so important, especially when we can share how our classrooms work, the “why” behind our practices, and how we can best support our children together.

Our Upper Elementary team hosted a Parent Education Night to share more about the UE classroom experience and how we can partner with families to support each child.

When a child knows that their parents and teachers are on the same team: loving, guiding, and supporting them, we all win! ✨️

Human flourishing is at the heart of our school. 💚 Just as we grow our students, we believe in growing and nurturing our teachers and staff, too.

When our school first opened its doors in 2013, we had just three classrooms: Primary, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary. Slowly and steadily, we’ve grown. Today, we have three Primary classrooms, two Lower Elementary, two Upper Elementary, and, since 2020, our Secondary classroom serving 7th and 8th grade students.

With each new classroom has come new teachers and staff, and with them, new friendships, connections, and opportunities to grow. What makes our growth even more special is that so many of our teachers have grown with us, stayed with us, and some even found their way back to us! 🌱

As our school continues to grow, so do the opportunities for our teachers and staff. We’re excited to share some of this year’s new roles and positions and to welcome our newest members to our community! We’re grateful for the deep roots, friendships, support, and joy that make our school community feel like home.

All hands and hearts on deck as we welcome the littlest members of our community!!! 🧡💚💜

There is something so beautiful about watching our oldest Primary students welcome our newest friends into our community. We love seeing them gently show our littles how to put on their shoes, how to walk the line, where things belong, and most importantly, how to feel at home. 🥹💕

As our Kindergarteners step into their leadership year, we are so proud of their initiative, confidence, and willingness to help and guide our littlest learners. This is Montessori philosophy in action: fostering independence by giving children the opportunity to serve, lead, model, and support one another. 🌱

We believe children are capable. We believe in giving them meaningful responsibility. And we believe that independence grows when children are trusted to do things for themselves, just the right amount of guidance when they need it. ✨

Behind it all? All the smiles, encouragement, patience, and love from our wonderful teachers and staff. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth, nurturing, and joyful as possible.

And to our parents…we know. There may have been some tears, some big feelings, and lots of excitement. ❤️

We've got you. Your little ones are surrounded by loving adults and caring friends who are ready to help them find their place, build their confidence, and discover that they are capable.

What a GREAT First Day of School! And just like that, the 2026-27 school year is off and running! 💜💚🧡

Today was filled with new beginnings, familiar faces, big smiles, and so much excitement as we welcomed our students back for another school year.

We observed students reconnect with friends, make new friends, settle into their environments, navigate new routines, meet new teachers, and begin the important work of becoming more independent, capable, and confident.

We understand that the first day isn't just about schedules and procedures. It's about belonging, connection, grace and courtesy, independence, and preparing the environment for a successful year of learning.

To our returning families: Welcome Back!
To our new families: We are so glad you are here!

And to our incredible students: thank you for bringing your energy, curiosity, and unique spark to our community.

Popsicles in the Park -- Welcome, New Families! 💜💚🧡

There is something special about being welcomed into a community, and we believe transitions are better when new families have the support of seasoned families who have once been in their shoes.

We had the joy of gathering for Popsicles in the Park to welcome our newest families to our school community! 🍧

A very special thank you to Mrs. Audra and Mrs. Samantha for organizing this beautiful opportunity to connect and make our new families feel at home.

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our Welcome Buddy families, our seasoned families, who have volunteered their time to support and encourage families who are just beginning their journey with us. Your willingness to share your experiences, answer questions, and simply be there means so much. 💚

To our new families, we encourage you to reach out to your Welcome Buddy with anything that will help make your transition smoother. Today, we welcomed our Primary and Secondary families. 💛

While the focus is different for each plane of development, we pay close attention through observation at every stage so we can truly understand and meet the needs of each student.

🌱 In Primary, our focus is on order, concentration, coordination, and independence. We guide our youngest children in building the foundational skills they need to become confident, capable learners.

🌳 In Secondary, our focus shifts toward valorization. We guide and help young adults recognize their own capabilities, develop confidence, and understand that they have something meaningful to contribute to the world. We are preparing them not only for high school and what comes next, but for life beyond the classroom.

This is the beauty of Montessori: meeting the child where they are, honoring the developmental stage they are in, and thoughtfully preparing them for where they are going.

As we wrap up orientation for the 2026-27 school year, we are grateful to welcome and share in this journey together with our students, families and community. ✨

All hugs, high fives, fist bumps and smiles at our Elementary Orientation for the 2026–2027 school year! 😊

Parents and students filled our halls with excitement as they met teachers and prepared for the first day of school next week. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces! ☺️

We are excited to welcome back our returning families and warmly welcome those joining our school community for the first time.

As our Montessori Elementary students enter the second plane of development, they are naturally driven to ask "why," think critically, collaborate with others, and explore their place in the world. We look forward to guiding them as they develop independence, responsibility, compassion, and a lifelong love of learning. 📚
