Just because you are a Reservist or Guardsman, it does not mean you are off duty! Thanks to these vigilant Soldiers and the training they received, a life was preserved.
Nicely done!
When a hike turned into an unexpected rescue mission, two U.S. Army Reserve officers and a friend didn’t hesitate to act. 🌄
Capt. Eric Adams, Capt. Jack Daily and Richie Ingle were on Mount Lemmon when they learned search crews were looking for a dehydrated hiker. Just a mile in, they found him disoriented, exhausted, and unable to walk on his own.
Without hesitation, they shared their water, steadied him, and sent his exact location to 911. Step by step, they guided him down the trail, reminding him he wasn’t alone and giving him the encouragement he needed to keep moving.
First responders say their actions made all the difference on that 100-degree day. Thanks to their preparedness, teamwork, and quick thinking, the hiker made it back to his family safely. 🇺🇸
A powerful reminder of the in action: selfless service, honor, and personal courage, no matter the uniform.
