Our Level Five students showed up, worked hard, and earned their moment to shine! These students demonstrated mastery by earning a Level Five on at least one of their state end-of-the-year assessments. Today we celebrated them by treating them to Steak n’ Shake! 🎉

From academic growth to leadership across campus, these students continue to set the bar high! Watching them enjoy this celebration of success was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do.

Students might be on summer break, but Jesse Keen Elementary leadership are still working hard to make your child’s school the best school in Polk County!

Last week, Mrs. Perry and Ms. Looper attended PCPS’s annual Leadership Academy, where school administrators and district staff get together to sharpen their skills and plan for the upcoming school year.

We know the 2026-2027 school year is going to be our BEST year yet!

Good morning, families! ☀️ Day 1 of our Summer Enrichment Camp is underway, and we were excited to welcome our Explorers back to school for a fun and rigorous day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and outdoor fun. It’s not too late to join the excitement. Stop by the office to complete a permission slip so your child can participate and get a strong start to the upcoming school year. 📚🤗

Our 2026 Summer Enrichment Camp is ready to welcome our rising 3rd–5th grade Explorers for a season of learning, exploring, and growing.

📚 Reading • Math • Science
🗓️ June 8th - June 25th, Monday through Thursday
⏰ 8:00 AM–1:00 PM (Drop-off begins at 7:30)
🥞🍽️ Breakfast & lunch provided
🎈 Designed to help students feel confident and prepared for the next grade level!

Registration ends on Friday, June 5th. Be sure to register before spots fill up! Space is limited!

A huge thank‑you to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit for visiting our campus today and giving an unforgettable presentation to some of our students. Our kids were amazed to meet one of the horses up close and learn about the important work these deputies do to keep our community safe.

We appreciate the time, care, and enthusiasm they shared with our students today!
