For female SVBPI Tribal members and their families, ages 12 and older.

Join us for a 5-class training for self-defense for girls and women! This training equips women with empowerment, personal safety, and preventing mitigating. Light snack, beverages, and reasonable transportation will be provided.

Join us for the Never Alone Women's Talking Circle!

Starting September 16, 2026, and continuing every third Wednesday of the month, ending in May 2027, 3:00 - 4:00 PM at the SVBPI TANF Office: 1005 Parallel Drive, Lakeport, CA 95453.

This is a sacred space for women to honor their relatives, strengthen awareness, and share ways to protect, heal, and prevent MMIP cases in their families and their community.
Light snack and drinks are provided. Please share with SVBPI members.

Our MMIP team is taking the show on the road and offering monthly info sessions to our MMIP partner, Big Valley!

These outreach events are intended to foster a healthy partnership and provide services to Big Valley Tribal members who are eligible for services under this grant funding. MMIP Resource Advocates and SVBPI Tribal staff will provide info on MMIP prevention, awareness, education, and response efforts that are going on in our community. Please share the flyer with our Big Valley neighbors.

The kickoff outreach will be on August 19, 2026 10:00 am - 2:00 PM at Big Valley Rancheria Wellness Center, located at 2730 Mission Rancheria Rd Lakeport, CA 95453.

We are inviting 3rd to 12th grade SVBPI youth to our ND42 Basketball Camp, hosted by: Sherron Dorsey-Walker, who is a 8 year professional athlete and current assistant coach for the Dallas Mavericks/Texas Legends.

Basketball camp will be August 3-5, 2026 from 8:00 AM - 12:15 PM daily
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM - 3rd-5th grade
10:15AM - 12:15 PM - 6th-12th grade
