I always love an opportunity to sit in a radio studio again.

Thank you to Paul Miller and WPHM Radio for the opportunity to sit down and discuss the campaign as we move closer to the election!

I'll be joining Paul Miller this morning at 7:10 on WPHM Radio

Small tidbit about myself is that I worked at Qcountry107 for 4 years from 2010 to 2014!

Republicans voted to weaken the initiative by making it easier to modify later - but it didn't work because the Michigan Senate Democrats pushed this vote to YOU!

If you agree that corporate money should be removed from politics, then you have the power to remove it from politics. The decision will be in the hands of voters as a ballot initiative in November!

Thank you to the Michigan House Democrats who made sure this goes to the people making it harder for legislators to change it later (not because they want to keep corporate dollars like it is being spun by some folks).

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to The Exquisite Co**se Coffee House earlier tonight for my campaign kick off!

Your support, conversation, and positive encouragement makes it easier to believe that we can flip District 64 come November!

Another tantrum from the Oval Office.

One side effect of moving forward with the name change would be the HOMES acronym would be changed to SHAME - which is an absolutely fitting way to describe how we should feel about this "adult" being POTUS

As a Licensed Professional Counselor this hits me directly. Spending two years with a limited license meant not seeing certain insurances - including Veterans TriCare.

Watching insurance GIANTS like Blue Cross Blue Shield looking to change policy to restrict access to mental health care is infuriating and terrifying. We don't need LESS clinicians we need MANY MORE to fill the shortages.

Supporting mental health care access is one of my top priorities. This includes supporting loan repayment programs to expand the workforce, pushing for increased Medicaid reimbursement (like forcing MDHHS to spend the money allocated already), and reducing access barriers like multiple appointments just to be approved for services before even meeting your therapist.

To everyone who showed up yesterday, thank you for standing strong for our clients AKA our neighbors and friends!

2,769 people answered. 73% of clients told us they would go without mental health care.

That is what the proposed BCBSM incident-to change looks like from the chair on the other side of the room. The people in this photo are Michigan counselors who took a working day to say so out loud.

The full impact assessment is on our site now, including the methodology and every finding.

Our Federal Administration continues to make decisions without understanding them. My guess is because someone they know benefits directly from them, while screwing anyone else.

We see post after post about industrial solar and data centers coming into rural areas. The real issue with those is that we don't support farmers enough so they don't feel the only option is to sell off generational land.

We need to support our farmers at the State level, to protect them from the poor choices by the ones in DC.

Nebraska Farm Bureau President Mark McHargue responds to today’s announcement regarding the tariff-free importation of 300,000 metric tons of beef and the potential impacts for Nebraska cattle producers.
