SCAM ALERT

A recent fraudulent scam targets Lake County applicants with projects scheduled before the Planning Commission using an email address that is not associated with the County of Lake. The scam has applicant information and requests wire transfers of funds. The County will not request wire transfers for any Planning, Building, or Code Enforcement payments. If you receive an email from an address you do not recognize or have been asked to transfer funds, please contact the Community Development Department at (707) 263-2221



All emails from County of Lake will be from .gov email address

At 8 Rumsey, we will see flooding in some areas. Here are the sandbag locations in Lake County.

Current Clear Lake level is 7.97 ft Rumsey.
Clear Lake is full at 7.56 ft.
Monitor stage is 8ft
Significant flooding begins around 9.0 ft Rumsey.
At this time, Clear Lake is not forecast to reach flood stage (https://water.noaa.gov/gauges/clkc1)
Per County policy adopted by the Lake County Board of Supervisors on 2/4/97, the County does not provide free sand or sandbags.
