Lake County Resource Conservation District and CAL FIRE hosted a field tour at Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest to explore reforestation efforts following the 2015 Valley Fire.

Participants saw reforestation efforts firsthand, learned about post-fire forest management, and discussed the challenges and successes of restoring a resilient landscape.

A special thanks to CAL FIRE LNU and LA Moran Nursery staff. Thank you everyone who joined us in the field and helped make it a great day of learning and connection!
