In honor of Independence Day Lake County Special Districts will be closed on Friday July 3th, and will re-open Monday, July 6th.

As always our main office number is monitored either by our staff or our answering service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If our customers are experiencing any water or sewer emergencies during our office closure please call (707) 263-0119 and the appropriate staff will be discharged to address the need.

Fireworks are illegal in the Lake County, except for designated areas within the City of Lakeport. With the high temperatures and wind it extremely imperative that we be especially diligent by not igniting any fires.

Behind the scenes at Lift Station #2!

Our team identified that the liner at Lift Station #2 had reached the end of its service life and needed to be replaced to help protect the structure and extend the life of the station.

After preparing and executing a contract with H&R Construction, our crew got to work preparing the site by removing the pumps and piping and thoroughly cleaning the wet well before H&R arrived on Monday, June 22.

Over the next two days, the old liner was carefully removed. Once the concrete was exposed, the station was grouted to repair and seal any imperfections before receiving a durable 100-mil epoxy coating. This new protective liner will help safeguard the lift station from the harsh sewer environment for years to come.

Preventative maintenance projects like this are a vital part of keeping our wastewater system reliable and protecting public health and the environment.

Notice to the residents effected by the Sanitary Sewer Overflow in Clearlake on or around Robin Lane, Potable water and shower resources are available at the Southeast Treatment at 2485 Old HWY 53 and will be maintained from 5am-8pm, but still available outside of the maned hours . If you're in need of potable water for you or your animals please contact our office at 707-263-0119 to have water delivered. Our hearts go out to the residents effected by this sewer overflow. Thank you Highlands Water for providing the Free public Water Fill Station. Addition resources will be provided by Red Cross and will be available at the Treatment Plant.
