Ballots for the May 19, 2026 primary election are due to the County Clerk’s Office by May 19, 2026. Starting May 13, 2026, we recommend that you return your ballot via a ballot drop box to ensure it will arrive on time for counting. Drop boxes are located at the County Courthouse on the south side of the building at the base of the stairs, at the Christmas Valley Annex building in the parking area next to the building, and at the Paisley Community Hall next to the building adjacent to the parking area. Drop boxes are open until 8:00 PM election day, May 19, 2026.

If you wish to use the mail, we recommend that you take your ballot to a customer service desk at a post office and ask for a hand cancel. This is free and will ensure your ballot has a postmark that is before or on election day. As long as a ballot with a postmark on or before May 19, 2026, arrives to the County Clerk’s Office by May 26, the ballot can be counted. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the Lake County Clerk’s Office at 541-947-6006 or email [email protected].
