A huge shout out to those who helped make Gus Macker a success this past weekend. It takes many hands to pull off an event like this and it couldn't have happened without each one of you. Thank you for being part of what makes our town so special. Your help with this event truly shows the power of community.

At Tuesday evening's Council meeting we were able to honor two very special people who have served the citizens of Lakeview in their own special way.
Roy Matthews is retiring after 30+ years of running the Lakeview Airport. We thank you Roy for all the time and effort you put forth to ensure success of the various airport projects and the day to day operations.
Alison Barberi is retiring from the LACF after many years of service. She has been an asset to our community and has continuously put forth the effort to effectively improve the quality of life for citizens in Lakeview by overseeing grants and scholarships that directly impact our community.
Roy & Alison, on behalf of the Village Council and the citizens of Lakeview we express sincere appreciation for your many years of service to our community.
Enjoy your retirement.
