Please welcome Ms. Emma Daum to Lakeview High School as our social worker! Emma earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University in 2025 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from MSU in 2026.

Emma’s passion for school social work was inspired by her special needs brother, Kirk, and her desire to support students and families. Before joining Lakeview, Emma worked as an insurance agent at her family’s insurance agency in Big Rapids.

When she’s not at school, you can usually find her out on the boat, on the golf course, snowboarding, or spending time with her cats.

Emma is so excited to be welcomed into the Lakeview community! She will be splitting her time between the Middle School and High School as a school social worker.

Please give a big welcome to Ms. Busold, one of our special education teachers at Lakeview High School. She moved from Southwest Florida two years ago and is excited for her first full year as a Lakeview Wildcat! 🐾

Jen earned her Bachelor of Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009, majoring in Education with a minor in Psychology. After teaching second grade for three years, she discovered that her true passion is Special Education. As a National Board Certified Teacher, she takes great pride in building relationships with her students and helping each one grow, find confidence, and reach their educational goals.

Outside of the classroom, she also works in real estate and stays busy cheering on her three children—Jackson (15), Landon (13), and Hadley (12)—at baseball and volleyball games. In her free time, she loves traveling, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to a wonderful year at Lakeview!
