A quick reminder that June 1st is a major cutoff date for several 4‑H requirements, and we don’t want anyone to miss out.

If your member needs to add or drop a project from their enrollment, it must be completed by June 1st.
Not sure what your member originally signed up for? Give us a call, and we’ll help you double‑check.

If your member is leasing an animal that will be shown at the 2026 Lake County Fair, lease forms must also be turned in by June 1st.

It’s National 4-H Volunteer Week, and we want to take a moment to thank all of our Lake County 4-H volunteers.

The hours you give, whether it’s evenings at meetings, weekends at events, the long days at fair, or the behind-the-scenes planning, do not go unnoticed. You are the heart of this program. Because of you, our youth have the opportunity to learn, grow, lead, and discover their passions in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

You are mentors, role models, teachers, and cheerleaders. You show up with patience, dedication, and a genuine belief in the potential of every young person you work with. The impact you make reaches far beyond projects and meetings; it helps shape confidence, character, and lifelong skills.

Simply put, we could not do this without you.

Thank you for everything you do for Lake County 4-H and for the difference you make in the lives of our youth each and every day. We are so grateful for you, always.
