Today we said goodbye to the students for the summer. As with every year, we want to give our 5th graders a big send-off for their final year of elementary school. They spent six years with us. It is the longest they will be at any school in their educational lives. Our Promotion Day was filled with singing, speeches, and a red-carpet walk to celebrate. We will miss you 5th grade! Go CATS!!!

Friday's LME Activity Day was spectacular! The weather was perfect for a great day outdoors! Thank you to the Lake Marion Elementary PTO for running this outstanding event. Thanks to our parent volunteers for running all of the stations. It's a lot of work keeping our kids playing through all those stations at once. Your help made it work very well! Thank you!

Today Climb Theater gave two performances for our K-2 and 3-5th grade students. We love getting to have live shows at LME. Thank you to our PTO for funding this for our kids! Go CATS!

Our Spring Fling was a blast! We had a special guest from the Minnesota Vikings, BLAKE CASHMAN! He face painted and signed autographs for the kids. It was so much fun! GO CATS!

Staff appreciation week is next week! We invite all LME students and families to come by anytime Friday evening to Sunday evening to decorate the LME sidewalks with messages and art for our staff. The PTO will leave buckets of chalk out, but please leave them when you are done so others can leave their art too! Please keep art appropriate and to the sidewalks along the pickup/drop off line (up to the front door) and the back bus lot.

Join us this Friday at LME for our 3rd annual Spring Fling! This is not a drop off event, all students must be accompanied by an adult.

If you know of any NHS Students who need volunteer hours we can use the help setting up, running the event and cleaning up afterwards. Please Note: This IS NOT a parent sign-up!!!!
