Lakeway Police Officers' Association The Lakeway Police Officers Association Serves The City of Lakeway And Its Members With Honor and Pride. YOUR COMMUNITY!

Since 1974, with great pride and honor, the men and women of the Lakeway police force have been represented by the Lakeway police officers association. Proudly serving the Lakeway area, the Police Association represents the rank and file sergeants, corporals, officers, veterans and other non-sworn personnel. Over the course of the last 42 years, the brave men and women of the Lakeway police force

have tirelessly protected the constitutional rights, safety, property, and welfare of Lakeway’s residents and businesses alike. Police officers, their families, and the Lakeway Police Officers Association are also committed to providing charitable contributions to those in our community who need our help the most. Whether through outreach programs like this, or simply volunteering their scarce free time, the “POA” is dedicated to improving our community. We’re excited to announce our First Annual Golf Tournament, taking place on March 9th, benefiting Special Olympics Texas. Join us for a great day on the course and enjoy a unique experience with Golfing with a Cop, all in support of an incredible local cause.

Today, on Gold Star Spouses Day, we recognize the spouses of fallen service members—those who carry the weight of unimaginable loss with resilience and grace.

Their stories often go untold, but their strength is woven into the very foundation of our communities.

Gold Star recognition became official with the creation of the Gold Star Lapel Button in 1947 by the U.S. Congress, a symbol worn by family members who lost a loved one in service to the nation.
