Thanks to West Metro Chamber for the opportunity to share a little about RecoveryWorks at this month's Women in Business breakfast!

It was a great way to kick off Recovery Month and talk about why stability is the foundation for recovery, and to share the work RecoveryWorks is doing to build that stability with our unhoused neighbors.

We were also glad to sponsor the morning’s coffee and support this amazing group of local business and community leaders!

Just $10 stood between Dillon, Jasmine, and Isiah and losing the only shelter they had.

After coming up short on one week's motel rent, the family found themselves sleeping in a tent while continuing to work and search for a path back to stable housing.

With support from the Lakewood LEAD team, RecoveryWorks, and other community partners, they found that path. Today, they're celebrating a new chapter in permanent housing.

As Dillon shared: "I don't feel like I'm just going to lose everything in one day again."

We're incredibly proud of the hard work this family put into rebuilding their lives. We're also grateful to have played a small part in providing the stability, support, and encouragement that helped make this next chapter possible.

❤️ A big thank you to our friends at Grace Covenant Church!

For the second year in a row, Pastor Nathan B. and the Grace Covenant Church team treated our RecoveryWorks guests and staff to a wonderful summer BBQ.

It was a great afternoon of good food, conversation, and community. We were especially excited to gather on our new patio, which made the day even more special!

Thank you for your generosity and for continuing to invest in our RecoveryWorks community. We are so grateful for your friendship! Grace Chapel-Englewood, CO

A few months ago, we shared Olin's story as a guest in RecoveryWorks' Transitional Housing program.

We're happy to share an update: Olin has officially moved into his own beautiful apartment!

He's over the moon, and so are we. Congratulations, Olin! A big thank you to our dedicated team and community partners who helped make this milestone possible.

Check out these pics of move-in day with his case manager, Quinn!

📰 RecoveryWorks featured in the Neighborhood Gazette!

The article highlights our partnership with Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital and how RecoveryWorks' Medical Respite program helps people experiencing homelessness recover safely after leaving the hospital.

Thank you to our partners at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital—and to the Neighborhood Gazette—for shining a light on the power of community partnerships and compassionate care.

For patients experiencing homelessness, leaving the hospital can be one of the most vulnerable moments in the healing journey. A safe bed, a clean place to rest, and support with medications or follow-up care can make the difference between recovery and a return to the emergency room. Through its pa...

Thank you to Colorado Gives Foundation for awarding RecoveryWorks a Housing Grant to support Jefferson County residents experiencing homelessness.

🔑 At RecoveryWorks, we know that housing is often the key that unlocks everything else—health, recovery, employment, community, and hope.

As homelessness continues to rise in Jefferson County, investments in housing solutions remain critical. Stable housing provides the foundation people need to access resources, build community, pursue recovery, and move toward lasting stability.

“Housing is often the first key that unlocks lasting change,” said James Ginsburg, Executive Director of RecoveryWorks. “This investment will help more of our unhoused neighbors access the stability, resources, and support they need to build a path forward.”

We are grateful to Colorado Gives Foundation for investing in housing solutions and helping create pathways to stability in our community.

RecoveryWorks Executive Director James Ginsburg joined Governor Jared Polis today for the signing of HB26-1202, legislation focused on strengthening Colorado's response to homelessness.

Addressing homelessness requires collaboration across communities, service providers, healthcare systems, and government partners. We are proud to be part of conversations that help shape solutions and create pathways to housing, recovery, and stability for our unhoused neighbors.

We are also grateful for the leadership of our Board Member and Senior Policy Advisor, Adam Burg, and his colleagues at Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP, whose expertise helps advance important conversations impacting the communities we serve.

After a severe assault on the street, Felix spent two months in the hospital with a traumatic brain injury.

From there, he was referred to RecoveryWorks’ medical respite program to continue healing.

For the first time, he was able to rest, receive consistent support, and begin rebuilding.

“I was given a second chance at life,” he shared.

Today, Felix is working and taking steps toward stable housing.

Access to a safe place to recover after a hospital stay is critical. Without it, many people return to the emergency room—or the street—instead of moving forward.

Through May 20, every gift will be matched dollar for dollar—helping create the stability needed for healing and long-term progress.
